Project 2: Typeface Booklet
Here, the project is to create a booklet about a typeface. I choose New Century Schoolbook, and choose the background images that I did because the typeface is most common in young reader books (example: Dick and Jane).

Project 3: Company Book
This project is based on Exile Coffee Co. website design produced in Web Design. I began by redesigning my web design project, as I discovered that I did not like my final product. Using this new homepage design, I created a small recipe book featuring recipes from Cote D'Ivoire (aka. Ivory Coast). It is designed to be one of a set of recipe books from different regions that Exile Coffee is grown.

Project 4: Poem Book
Here, we were able to create a book on a topic of our choice. I choose to produce an accordion book featuring a poem by E. E. Cummings, "i thank You God". I painted abstract watercolor marks in the background, as I decided to focus on the words more than imagery (though still thought the subject of the poem called for some use of color).
